The Spexi Network Pilot Eligibility & Compatible Drones

At Spexi, we’re passionate about empowering drone pilots from all backgrounds to tap into the potential of aerial imaging through our FLY TO EARN network. Whether you’re an experienced pilot or just getting started, our standardized system makes it easy for you to contribute. All you need is a compatible drone and the necessary certifications for your region. Let’s dive into what you need to know to get started and the types of drones we currently support.

Pilot Eligibility 

If you’re legally permitted to fly and own a compatible drone, you’re set to contribute and earn. For the best experience, we recommend completing at least 10 automated flights and our Pilot Onboarding training.

‍Country-Specific Requirements

Canada 🇨🇦

No pilot certificate is needed for drones under 250g, but safe operations are a must. Learn more about Canadian regulations.

USA 🇺🇸

A Part 107 license and FAA registration are required for all commercial drone operations. Learn more about USA regulations.

Compatible Drones

Currently, our network supports sub-250g drones, specifically the DJI Mini 2, Mini 3, and Mini 3 PRO, with more models on the way.

Supported Drones:

• DJI Mini 2 / Mini 3 / Mini 3 PRO
• Controller: DJI RC-N1
• Device: Android Only

Coming Soon:

• DJI Mini 4 PRO
• Controller: DJI RC-N2
• Device: Android Only

Note: Only controllers using a separate mobile device are compatible. DJI RC/PRO versions with built-in screens are currently not supported.
